From 1993 until November 1996, the CSC was known as the GCATT Systems Engineering Group. CSC is closely affiliated with the Georgia Center for Advanced Telecommunications Technology (GCATT). John Copeland is a GCATT Eminent Scholar and the VP of Research for GCATT (a division of the Georgia Research Alliance). The CSC labs and offices are located on the fifth floor of the GCATT Building, SE corner.
